I will use aurasma and augmented reality with my students.
There are so many amazing apps out there but I believe the most useful site for my class will be the Book Creator. This will be the most useful site for my students because I know they will enjoy creating and sharing their own stories. I also enjoyed playing with the IMovie trailers and plan to use this app as a warm up/get to know you activity at the beginning of the year. Thanks for a great class.
I loved this. I guess I,m going to have to buy an iPad. DEFINATELY, going to use the the video and music and explore more of these apps with dance and integration.
Love Your classes. Good luck on your job.
I want to use doodle cast pro with my students next year. My plan is for them to be more interactive in their learning and show what they know. I also want to use near pop since I don't have clickers. I love just the interactive nature of what we learned today and I plan to use the ipads more in my everyday whole group lesson!
I loved this class! It moved fast but I learned about many practical education apps. I would like to use either Bookreader or iMovie to create instructions for online class registration. These iPad app tools will be fun for my students if we eventually get iPads at my school. Also thank you for providing us with AppStore codes to gain free access to apps. I loved the simplicity of Haiku. Thanks so much!
Aurasma- I believe this would be a great tool to assist with vocabulary. Take a picture of the vocabulary word and add an icon to visually enhance the definition. I.e. If the vocabulary word was nutritious, add a dancing banana for an icon. If the word is dangerous, add a flame icon.
Thank you very much for the very informative and fun class :)
Vidrythm I'll use in the Functional Life skills classroom just for fun.
I'm going to sign up for UCET's newsletter and hopefully take advantage of the free apps.
Also, will promote the use of Bugs and Buttons to the Augmentative Team for teaching various access methods for students provided devices.
Lastly, Comic Life seems to be a useful app for creating Social Stories for students with either Asperger's Syndrome or on the Autism Spectrum.
I'm excited to try spelling city for my kiddos to use in school and at home. I want to try to get some iPads for my class and I would love to use doodle cast pro to help students learn and review concepts. Near pod sounds awesome to make sure kiddos are on the same page as you. Thanks!!
I will try to use this with students and new ways to share book reports for home reading. I think this will spark some excitement and add some variety to they ability to share. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this class. I'm going to go back into the classroom and use several of the apps we went to yoday. I hope to use Doodlecastpro with my resource math students. It's a fun way to assess student understanding. I also wany to use Aurasma as a fun and engaging way to learn vocabulary. I also am excited to use Adobe voice with my students that need to look at a picture schedule every day. Thanks so much. I am taking away a lot of knowledge to use with my students.
It is awesome how many things you can do with a tablet, and how you can engaged your students. I am panning to use comics at the beginning of the school year.
Please respond to the blog that I've specified for your training and/or class. Mahalo!
