I learned about the settings so I am better acquainted with my ipad now. I just have a better idea of an ipad's capabilities and where to look for apps. Now I just need lots of time to try this new info out.

1. I liked being able to organize the things I have on my iPad. I have used some things before, but there were several basic features that I did not know before.

2. I can see that maybe I can use some of the apps for my class, but more from a presentation format. We have some hotspots in the school, but at this time I don't have immediate access to any ipads. It would be a great resource for the students if we could get them.

I learned how to add a new keyboard (cool), zoom in to stuff (yeah), plus add my own icon to my iPad.
I will use the iPad to show my students different forms of hardware/software used in iOS compared to pc.

1. (Several things!) I feel more competant to even touch my iPad efficiently. The mulitask bar is AMAZING.

2. Knowing that with a dongle cord (and now knowing about the BYOD option) has opened many doors. Apps that will be SUPER engaging to the students are the imovie, Book Creator, and Doodlecast. Thank you!
I can imagine a PLETHORA of uses for the apps I've already had and other apps learned about today.

I learned a lot of the basic things regarding the iPad. I also appreciated getting some new educational apps and being able to watch you demonstrate them and then having a few minutes for hands on. I think I also learned that I need to get a newer iPad so that I can add the apps to mine.

As far as implementing the iPad into my classroom, I think I would really like to use Book Creator. I thnk my students would have a great time with it and be able to feel successful.

1. I'm now comfortable with downloading apps. My first goal is to use the iMovie app. I really needed the navigation tips . . . Or should I say "taps!?"

2. Classroom mobility using splashtop.

1. I learned a lot of new things about the iPad. I liked the emoji keyboard, learned some new little tricks about the iPad. I also liked how you addressed honestly the different options that we have with being able to use iPads wirelessly. I really liked learning about the iBooks and the interactive texts.

2. I applied for a technology grant last year and so I am hoping that it will give me enough money to get 3 or 4 mini iPads, Apple TV (although now I think I need Splashtop). I want to use these apps to demonstrate and show students on the smart board. I also want to use the mini iPads to do small group work.

Great class! Thanks you!

I learned about the split keyboard and international keyboards, which is very helpful to me. I learned about apps I will utilize like iMovie and haiku deck. I want to implement splashtop with my smart board!! I wasn't aware of Siri's capabilities. Very helpful!

I learned how to start using the iPad. I am excited to practice using this tool, but im slow understanding new tech. I am interested in learning more about I movies and having my students create their own movies. I will only have a couple of iPads though. I'm a bit nervous trying to teach something I don't know very well.

1. The finger sweeping commands. The use of Splashboard to use the iPad as a remote way to interact with a Smartboard.

2. Use of the iPad at East High School in the Functional Skills Classroom for mobility impaired students to interact with Smartboard activities.
