I plan on using it to give students additional support in core content and as a communication modem between my students, their families, and myself.
Great class John! I learned a lot and have greatly increased my comfort level in using Weebly. I will be using this web site as a means of communication with my students and their parents/guardians.
I have learned alot but I need lots more practice! I plan to have my first website ever, to share info with parents during the year. I expect to be able to keep this website up to date with lots of practice. Thanks so much!
Once I've learned more of the resources they use in first grade, I will be using my Weebly on the student computers daily. I've been wanting a website that I can log the student computers into in the morning and then the kids can go to that page all day and access the things I want them on. I will put more links videos and student pictures once I actually have my class. I also plan to put my weekly news letter and open disclosure on the parents tab of my website.
Thank you for all your help! I so appreciate the time for creating my first website. I feel so "techie" today!
Voila, another attempt! Hopefully, not futile?
I plan to use my website in two main ways; 1. as a class platform for student learning, and 2. as a way to communicate with and inform parents about classroom instruction. Thanks for your time today!
I have used my weebly account last year to help students practice concepts we have learned in class. I also post songs from youtube for students to sing at home. This year, I hope to put the readers on the site so students can practice their 20minutes daily reading. I want to try having student make their own websites so that I can post homework assignments or other pertinent information just for parents through student weebly sites.
I have wanted to have a website to accompany my work in the classroom. Today's course gave me great ideas and a good start. Thanks!
Please respond to the blog that I've specified for your training and/or class. Mahalo!
